In this house on 7 October 1916 a film actor and singer, RRFSR People’s Artist Neyman Mark Naumovych (Mark Bernes) was born (1911-1969). In Bernes’s lifetime the street where the house is situated was named Miliyonna.
The house where the famous singer and actor was born is situated in Ovdiivska Street (former Milyonna St.). In 2011 a memorial plaque was established: “In this house the famous film actor, singer, national RRFSR Neyman Mark Naumovych was born on 7.10.1911 and lived here until 1916”.
