Vvedenskyi Cathedral is the central temple of Vvedenskyi women monastery. It was built in 1778 in the Ukrainian Baroque style. During the years of Soviet Union, the cathedral was closed, but it was revived in1998.

Vvedenskyi Cathedral is the central temple of Vvedenskyi women monastery. It was built in 1778 on the place of Vvedenskyi wooden temple, which burnt down in 1756 during the conflagration in Nizhyn. It was built in Ukrainian Baroque style. Moreover, divine services were held in the cathedral from 1778 to 1920. During the years of the Soviet Union, the cathedral was closed. The cathedral remained neglected till 1998.
