The Count's Park, or Obidovschina, was the first in the Nizhyn public garden, which is known since the beginning of the eighteenth century.

Located on the right bank of the river Oster in the former suburb of Magerka. The main part of the territory of the Count's Park is a park and a tract, which at the end of the XVII - the beginning of the XVIII century. was the property of Nizhyn colonel Ivan Obidovsky - nephew and associates of Hetman I. Mazepa (served as Nizhyn colonel from 1696 to 1701).
